- Transloading: Perform safe, efficient loading/unloading of dry and liquid bulk products to and from tank trucks and railcars.
- Lead by Example: Work hands-on in daily operations while acting as a go-to resource for newer team members. Provide peer support and share expertise without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Peer Support: Assist with training new operators and guiding best practices in daily tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate railcar movers, loaders, skid steers, and other transloading equipment.
- Safety Focus: Model safe work practices, participate in toolbox talks, and ensure procedures are followed.
- Documentation: Accurately complete load records, scale tickets, and other required paperwork.
- Facility Upkeep: Contribute to site cleanliness, basic maintenance, and yard duties as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and report issues to leadership to help maintain smooth operations.
- Experience: 2–4 years’ experience in rail, terminal, or oilfield operations preferred.
- Valid Class 5 License and reliable transportation required.
- Equipment Operation: Proficient in operating equipment such as skid steers and front-end loaders.
- Communication Skills: Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively interact with teammates, support less experienced staff, and communicate professionally with management and clients.
- Safety Focus: Experience working in regulated environments and following procedures.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Detail-Oriented: Able to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of performing physical tasks and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
